You seem rather knowledgeable when it comes to fights, I was wondering what you’d consider the best advice for being in a fight? (Also, love your blog, your stories are fantastic)

skittle-skattle:

  • Don’t ever punch someone in the face
    • ever
    • you will break your fingers and be unable to punch
      • generally if you can’t hit the person you’re fighting you’re going to lose
  • aim for the throat and torso when punching
    • soft targets for soft bones
  • elbows and knees to the face
  • If you start freaking out because you’re in the middle of a fight start laughing
    • it won’t help you but it’ll scare the shit out of the person you’re fighting
    • if you do that enough times it becomes instinctual
    • people don’t like it when you laugh hysterically while shattering their ribs
  • the faster you can dislocate someone’s shoulder or destroy their elbow the faster you win and the faster you teach people you are not to be fucked with
    • get behind your opponent
    • grab their forearm midway with your matching hand
      • left hand for left arm, right hand for left arm
    • place the heel of your inside hand on the back of the elbow
    • pull back with your outside hand as hard as possible
    • push forward with your inside hand as hard as possible
    • maybe laugh while you’re doing this
  • If you’re outnumbered don’t ever grapple
    • yeah cool you’re choking him out
      • but guess what?
      • his buddy is about to kick you in the back of the head
    • If you really know what you’re doing you can throw in quick grapples
      • but those are less
        • I’mma choke you out!
      • more
        • I’m using you to block a punch while I stomp your knee into oblivion
  • Use your space
    • If you’re fighting someone don’t just square up and flail
    • back up
    • circle around them
    • use bigger spaces to draw them into strikes
    • fake retreats are devastating if you can pull them off
  • Alright this one will sound dumb but for real don’t worry about looking cool
    • who the fuck is going to walk up to you and be like
      • “yeah okay you made that guy piss himself while you shattered his collarbone but like you looked like a loser”
    • YOU KNOW WHAT TOTALLY WILL HAPPEN THOUGH?
      • “Dude I don’t know you were winning and then you tried that roundhouse. You fell on your ass and he just started stomping your legs into powder.”
    • Seriously though if you try something you saw in a kung-fu movie you will get your shit rocked extra hard as a punishment for being a dweeb
  • Mercy is for people who aren’t fans of winning
    • don’t stop hitting them until you are absolutely positive they can’t hit you back

Ancient Alphabets.

Thedan Script – used extensively by Gardnerian Witches
Runic Alphabets – they served for divinatory and ritual purposes, as well as the more practical use; there are three main types of Runes; Germanic, Scandinavian/Norse, and Anglo-Saxon and they each have any number of variations, depending on the region from which they originate
Celtic and Pictish – early Celts and their priests, the Druids, had their own form of alphabet known as “Ogam Bethluisnion”, which was an extremely simple alphabet used more for carving into wood and stone, than for general writing, while Pictish artwork was later adopted by the Celts, especially throughout Ireland
Ceremonial Magick Alphabets – ”Passing the River”, ”Malachim” and ”Celestial” alphabets were used almost exclusively by ceremonial magicians

Reblogging for future reference, I love learning how to write in these alphabets.
